A few things I noticed:. . Just address the e-mail to Ms. Talbot (no first name).. If she has not agreed to the lunch meeting yet, you should begin by asking her if she is free that day and then tell her why.. Why is lunch at 2:00? That's kind of late for a business lunch meeting.. It is grammatically incorrect to use "between" for more than two items or people.. If she knows Mr. Webster, then you do not have to identify his position. If she doesn't know him, you don't have to use his name. Don't include both name and position.. The project isn't "upcoming" if you're already working on it.. I would clarify the restaurant and time after she accepts the invitation.. . I would write it like this:. . Dear Ms. Talbot,. . Are you free for lunch next Wednesday? My assistant manager and I would like to meet with you to discuss the project we've been working on. I'd like to share some new ideas with you and get your feedback.. . Please let me know if you're free on Wednesday or whether another day would work better for you. I think this meeting will keep our project heading in the right direction!

So I have completed the qualifications to become a lifeguard at a pool last week and I am now going to apply to all the local pools in my area.. . I am going to send in a cv but I understand that there is a lot of competition for jobs.. . So I was thinking of sending in a cover letter with my cv, will this be okay? I only want a few hours, even if it's every now and thne.. . It would just say something like,. . To whom in may concern, . Along with my CV you will find that I have completed the qualification to become a pool lifeguard. I am eager and dedicated and as something which I am passionate about would like to use my qualification in a job. As I understand there might not be any current jobs I would still be willing to cover very small amounts of working hours, even if this was every few weeks or so.. . Or how can I make it bette,r cut the crap and basically say I would like to have a job, even if it is just a few hours every few weeks or so.. . Thanks.
