My father has Alzheimer's and he is in a nursing home. He was placed in the nursing home 19 days ago by my sister which is power of attorney. I just found out that he was placed in a nursing home yesterday by a family friend. I called my sister as soon as I received this news and she refused to give me any information regarding his whereabouts so I could naturally go and see him. She states that my father does not want to see me or my 2 year old son. Obliviously if he said such a thing he clearly wasn't in the stated of mind to be making such rash decisions. I believe that he didn't even say that at all. She is my step sister and she just within the past 3 years got in my fathers life. I attempted severe times to get my father help but he refused it. My mother lefted my father and divorced him leaving us to make the decision about his well being. I am just wanted to know from a legal stand point, is my sister allowed to keep me away from visiting my father? Does she have the right to withhold that information. I have been in my fathers life since I was born we were much much closer they her and my father.. He didnt give her power of attorney she got it legally after he was all ready bad. Can I fight her for power of attorney?.

Then, you would want to go with your education. The CNA & CPR Certification could be put together, all under the education point. . Next would come your clinical experience. Did you do this all in one place? If so, put that company/school/place, and bullet the answered call lights, feeding, etc. However, try and group them with other like things. Example - Patients = Feeding, Dressing, Toileting, Turning, Vital Signs, Bathing. Office (for lack of a better term) = Answered call lights, making beds, giving/emptying bed pans/urinals, infection control, providing privacy, etc... "Assisted with activities of living would be the main point, and the others that I mentioned would be sub-points underneath. "Ensured that each residents..." would be a main point.
