I basically had the same problem. My name was the same but was spelled differently -- one way on my birth certificate and another way on all records, dating back to when I started school. I don't know what state you were born in. Where I was born, I had to file an application for change of name on my birth certificate with (I think) the State Registrar's Office. Since all my records other than my birth certificate had the same name spelling I wanted it that way on my birth certificate. I believe I had to submit three documents giving the name I wanted to use. Submitted a copy of my marriage license, one of the children's birth certificates and school transcript. Actually when I knew what to do, it wasn't really such a task and only cost a few dollars. When all this was done, I was furnished a certified copy of my corrected birth certificate. Good luck.

It will cost him the same amount as it cost him to change it in the first place.. . And HE has to do it - which means it will have to wait until he is released.

My middle name is taylor...and i hate it, so how much would it cost in Michigan for me to change it to something that i like?.

My wife and I are in the process of estate planning. We talked with 2 different lawyers and have 2 different pieces of legal advise:. . ~1: Establish a Living Revocable Trust. This allows you to avoid probate on assets that do not have beneficiary designations.. . ~2: Use a Will. Your major accounts and home will pass to your spouse if you ensure the beneficiary designation forms/titles are on file with the correct information. True, any personal property (not held jointly) without a beneficiary may go through probate, but that will be a small portion of your assets.. . My question is this: If a couple has a living revolvable trust, one or both of the spouses pass away, is it advisable to have legal council to execute the trust?. . The way things are being presented, the Trust is a large upfront cost with no back end costs. The Will is a small upfront cost but a large back end cost.. . I am curious if the Trust is a large upfront cost and has significant costs on the back end too..

Firstly, a generic CV is never going to win you a job! Unless you have extensive retail experience, it will always look weak. . Secondly, there are far better ways of finding jobs, applying and getting interviews over cold letter drops. Why is it that people these days just want to do things remotely?. . If you have to do it remotely - expect pick-up rates of less than 1 in 50 applications by employers to even call you - then make the Cover Letters at least bespoke to that organisation:. . 1. Do your research. 2. Make sure you have a named person to write to. 3. Use a power opening statement. 4. Stress your top five skills for the job. 5. Close with action, eg: "I will call you in 3days time.". . Good Luck!
