Here?s a joke about lawyers.. . A kind old woman had lived in the same house her entire adult life and expected to stay there until she died. However, some slick developers were trying to push her out.. . Desperate, she went to a lawyer who told her he could stop the developers, but it would cost her $10,000. The poor old lady couldn?t afford it, but she had no choice. Leaving her house would literally kill her. So she went to the bank and asked the cashier to write down how much she had in her account. With her failing eyesight, she didn?t realize the cashier had written $15,000, not $10,000. Hence, she asked for all the money and put it in a bag for the lawyer.. . The lawyer, upon seeing the extra $5,000 windfall was faced with the first moral dilemma of his life?.. should he just pocket the $5,000 or declare it as income?. . And that?.is how a lot of lawyers are.. . Do not?. Do NOT trust this lawyer for one moment. I?ve had my own experiences with lawyers and they did not care about the law nor even what was fair. To them, it?s a game to win. They have few moral principles that can?t be eclipsed by the possibility of self-enrichment. Do not take anything this guy says on face value. Don?t let him pressure you into signing anything.. . I am not a lawyer. I have never gone to law school. I have no pretense of having great personal knowledge in this area, but I do know that many many lawyers are absolutely reprehensible. This I know from personal experience.. .
