• Born and raised in Oklahoma, I graduated from Moore High School in 1996 and back in my day there where not three high schools in Moore.? I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a double major in Finance and International Business and a minor in French from the University of Oklahoma in 2002.??? I then continued my studies and received my Juris Doctorate in 2008 from Oklahoma City University School of Law.? I was admitted to practice law?in Oklahoma in 2008.??

  While attending Oklahoma City University, I gained valuable legal experience while working at Niemeyer, Alexander, Austin & Phillips, P.C.? It is there that I learned how to fight for my clients and handle complex personal injury, insurance defense and family law cases.

  After law school, I was ordered to United States Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twenty-nine Palms, CA to support my partner in law and life in his duties as a United States Marine.? Unfortunately, what I learned upon my arrival, was that while the desert tortoise was plentiful in the desert, work was not.? So, I searched for work outside of Twenty-nine Palms, CA and bounced around the country a bit before ultimately landing in Phoenix, AZ.

  I found work at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. working in commercial lending where I reviewed collateral documentation and prepared loan agreements, security agreements and personal guarantees for multi-million dollar loans for their commercial clients with verifiable assets in excess of $10 million dollars.? I then transferred to the Chase Auto Finance legal department where I reviewed Retail Sales Installment agreements for compliance with state and federal laws and researched legal issues regarding Guaranteed Asset Protection and indirect lending laws.

  After my time at JPMorgan Chase, Bank, N.A. I worked in the legal and compliance department of CNA National Warranty Corporation.? There, I drafted consumer contracts for Guaranteed Asset Protection, Limited Warranties and Vehicle Service Contracts.? Additionally, I researched and was responsible for the compliance of those contracts will the laws in all 50 states.? Finally, I attended GAPA, SCIC and MVAPA industry conferences on behalf of CNA National Warranty Corporation.

  I am a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Oklahoma County Bar Association.? I am admitted to practice in the Oklahoma State District Courts.

Almost anyone applying for a job at Target or Blockbuster has zero experience. Your only competition will be with someone they already have in mind, a friend or a cousin or something. . Look at what the people are wearing that work there and wear something similar, neat, clean and pressed and tucked in. There is plenty of time for self expression at home and not at work. . When you speak to a manager about the job whether in passing or at your interview, be candid, don't mumble or say, "uh...". If, in the future a customer asks a question you don't know the answer for, tell them you will find out, and then do it! Walk around the store and get a feel for the place, know where stuff is! Know what you sell. . If you are pleasant and you are willing to be at work and not using that time for complaining or socializing you will be a success. . Quick story: I went into a dept. store and the clerk was chatting with three of her friends, moaning about having to be there and get this.... trimming, filing and painting her toenails!! I kid you not.
