what do you have to sign in case you die for your kids to go to the person you want them to go to?.
I would call your local Clerk of Probate, Probate Court in some areas. They deal with estate matters and such. They can tell you what needs to happen to keep things legal and all.
If you want to change your name after marriage, then your marriage license should suffice to prove your name change. If you want to go back to your former last name after a divorce, then usually mere usage is all that is required.. . Because every state varies on their name change rules, be sure to check with your local court clerk on your state's requirements.
legal name change w/ divorce?
Oh, this changes things a bit (I answered your same question in another section). It sounds like you want to change your name, but going forward still be able to cash checks written to your old name.. . Still shouldn't be a huge issue
