I have done as advised. Is the POA now revoked?. Edited to add: It's lost all right! I checked myself. It was for a piece of property and a general one giving broad based powers. I hear such horror stories from India about land sales with forged POAs, I shudder to think what can be done with a stolen one..

I know the pros but not much about the cons, what questions can I ask about the cons of advance directive/living will?.

Have you ever read "Letters to the editor" in your newspaper?. . Good source for examples.

General grants full range of powers

I currently am transitioning MTF, and want to change my name. I Currently live in the UK and am a British citizen, though I am from Canada and most of my documents (Driver's License, Passport, birth Certificate, Care Card, Banking etc.) I wanted to know what to do, as I have been made aware here (in the UK) I can change my name by deed poll and hand the forms into the different places (bank, passport, etc) to change my name. I'm wondering how to go about all of this in detail and how much this will all cost me, and how about changing the gender marker on these documents? do I have to of had GRS to change them? or can I request this to be done? will it cost more?.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
