I purchased a house in Suffolk, Virginia November 2006. I just received a bill from the city for a real estate tax. It has information concerning land values, building values, etc... So my question is---Is my real estate tax my property tax or is this something different. If it is my property tax, then this should be taken care of from my escrow. Any info. you can provide would be appreciated!.

you need to check with the local town business office. . running a business out of a house is usually not allowed in most residential areas - doesn't matter what the landlord says - it's a zoning issue. . start with town hall - IN PERSON. . then if it IS allowed, you need to get a business license, state sales tax license, etc

Most importantly "Begin with the end in mind". In life and especially real estate understand what your goals are with each property. If you want to make money in real estate you will be making your money when you buy not when you sell. If you can read enough and think it through enough to understand that then you will be an amazing success.. . good luck and never stop learning. A college degree has value but to strive to learn something new everyday will trump that piece of paper 7 days a week!!

Yes that's bad! The university will probably try to contact the person who has "recommended" you. A letter of recommendation can act as a reference as well. So if you submit a phony one, and the school finds out because they can't contact the person who recommended you, it could hurt your chances of being accepted.. . Also, that's a form of plagiarism which is very wrong and all universities tend to frown upon that.

Tax credits including: Child tax credit, Hope and lifetime learning credits . Deferred Compensation for pension and IRAs . Estate and gift tax benefits . Welfare and public assistance. There are only a couple of states in the US that give some of these rights to gay couples and many of the other states don't regognice these rights in case a couple moves to another state..

First off, I didn?t know that they changed my name until they came home and said Hey I changed your name. Which then I was mad but they didn?t ask and I really didn?t if they adopted me or not because they had no right to do that.. . But I was trying to be a good kid so I just smiled it off. However, this is where the problems begin. Before I left my real mom I was repeating 2nd grade but when I got adopted by the couple they didn?t put me in school but they believed in home school. But their type of home school was reading the bible one time a day.. . So I spent three years living with them before I was adopted back to my real mom because my adoptive parents were abusive and all. So when I got back to Florida that?s where I was born and still live the adoptive couple lived in Tennessee.. . When I got back my mom tried to put me in school but the school threaten to call social services because the name the couple changed it to had no records at all like shots and all the stuff. And I guess when you get your name change you get a pieces of paper saying that this person and that are the same but the couple in Tennessee refuse to give it to my mom.. . Therefore, to get me back in school my mom had to use my old name Abby just to get me into school. And then I went to go get my school shots I had the social services come to my house and school once because of the two names and I fear when I get older that I can?t get a job because all my school records go by the name Abby but when I fill out a job form I have to fill it out with Makala (that is the name the adoptive couple gave me).. . So I was wondering to get changed do I have to get it change back to Abby and then change it to what I want it to be or can I just change Makala to Max (Max is the name my father George who is not father he was my mom boyfriend but put his name on my birth certificate because he saw me as his daughter. However, my real dad split when my mom wouldn?t get an abortion). And George left Florida when he found out my mom was giving me up.. . What I want to know is if I can change my name with out a lawyer or because of all this confusion do I need one, and case you don?t know my 17 turning 18 on the 14 and sorry if I confused anyone..
