'. People get embarrassed differently, and the people who make fun of it are different. Anyways ~~~. . I was wondering if a 14 year old girl can change her name. I don't think I want to be called (insert nickname for last name here)

i want to go get my drivers license tomorrow, but it says i need a social security card. so, about a week and a half ago we went to the Social Security Office and applied for a new card since my dad doesnt know where mine is. they said it would take about 2 weeks to get my card and they gave me a receipt saying that i applied for one. somebody told me that i can just show the DMV the receipt and they will let me get my license. however, it doesnt say my social security number on there or anything. can i really use the receipt to get my license?. i live in Illinois.

Tutoring recommendation forms for middle school teachers?

When you apply for a marriage license you have to state what name you are going to use. If your wife did not put down your last name on the marriage license then she still has her maiden name. Once you get married you cannot change it. You would have to go to court and file a name change petition. If she took your last name then any document you fill out after the marriage took place will have to state her new name. Once you change your name you have to start using it because your old name is null. Just make sure that the marriage license states her new name before you fill out any forms with the new name.
