How do i change my last name?

What is the process to legally change your name?. . The most important thing to do to legally change your name is to start using your new name. Introduce yourself using your new name, fill out forms and applications under your new name, tell all of your family and friends to only refer to you using your new name, and tell your school and/or employer of your new name.

I lthink you was confused regarding Christianity. But God is one...and I knew that deep in my heart. I am a MUSLIM. Islam is the true religion. . Jesus , Moses, Mohammad (peace be upon them), they all worshiped the same God, the God of Ibrahim (pbuh). All prophets taught "surrendering one's will to God" that is the meaning of word "ISLAM".

Yes. You are right that lawyers swear to uphold the government and Constitution. However, the rules of professional ethics are quite clear that a lawyer does not personally adopt his client's position. Think about it: a lawyer may not personally adopt the views espoused by a member of NAMBLA or the Black Panther's or the KKK, but that is certainly no barrier to representation. Lawyers advocate for their clients - which is totally distinct from agreeing with their personal philosophies or condoning their actions. Every single accused person, regardless of politics, citizenship, etc., still enjoys the fundamental Constitutional right to representation.

My great great grandfather came to America in the late 1800's. I have census data, naturalization data and the such on him but I can't find his or his wife's Ellis Island/immigration info. We have a British last name but my great great grandfather was a Polish Jew who had never been to England. So we believe he changed his name after coming here. So where can I find name change records for New York?.
