• William P. Walzer has extensive experience in handling real estate transactions which involve the needs of businesses and real estate entities. Such matters include sales, tax-deferred exchanges and leases. He advises clients on the real estate development process and on the laws which concern public offerings of real estate investments. In the course of such representation, he often prepares agreements that govern the relationships of joint venture partners, shareholders and LLC members. Mr. Walzer has handled matters involving the transfer of development rights, and the leasing of air space.

  Mr. Walzer has represented both lenders and borrowers in a variety of financing transactions, including fee and leasehold acquisition, construction and project loans, industrial development bond placements and credit enhancements, and loan syndications and participations.

  Mr. Walzer also represents litigants in both the federal and New York State courts, frequently involving disputes which concern real estate. These matters include foreclosures and commercial evictions, Yellowstone injunctions, adverse possession and claims made against managing members of real estate entities. He has handled numerous matters involving disputes among cooperative and condominium owners and their boards.
