• Mr. Valentine became associated with the Firm in 2011, joining the Real Estate Department with Anthony Montalbano and Brian J. Quinn.? Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Valentine worked as coverage counsel for international and domestic insurers in the securities industry.Mr. Valentine practices primarily in the areas of real estate transactions and litigation, leasing, financing, planning, zoning, and assorted corporate matters.? He also assists the firm’s commercial litigation department and appears regularly in the Rockland, Orange, Westchester, and Dutchess County Supreme Courts, as well as many Justice Courts throughout the Hudson Valley.Mr. Valentine was admitted to the New York and New Jersey State Bars in 2010 and 2009, respectively. He graduated from Pace University School of Law in 2009 with honors and was the Case Note and Comment Editor of the Pace International Law Review.? For his academic achievements, Mr. Valentine was also awarded the school's Upper-Division and Ben Marden Scholarships. In 2006, Mr. Valentine was awarded First Place in the Broome County Bar Association’s student writing competition for his critique of the Posse Comitatus Act and resulting sluggish response to Hurricane Katrina and he was recognized as one of the most promising future lawyers.? Prior to law school, Mr. Valentine received a B.S. in Marketing, magna cum laude, from Binghamton University's Business School of Management where he was one of the 5% of students selected to the PricewaterhouseCoopers Scholars Program.
