  • Steve is a Board Certified Marital and Family Lawyer, a Certified Family Mediator, Collaborative Lawyer, and an Arbitrator. He handles a wide variety of marital and family law cases, with particular emphasis on divorce litigation and post-judgment modification. Having practiced law since 1979, Steve believes strongly that marital disputes can be handled in a manner that will be the least damaging to the family, and include negotiations which will arrive at a settlement with emotions on both sides held in check. Bottom line: Saving money and time.

Steve’s years of experience as a family law attorney include a great interest in the value of preserving family relationships. He helped design and create the County Clerk’s Support and Visitation Enforcement Program, for which he received the Florida Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award. He participates in numerous other programs and organizations such as the Child Protection Team and the Children’s Alliance, and for a number of years was involved in the Guardian Ad Litem Program.

Co-author of Florida Legal Forms - Domestic Relations, published by West Publishing Company, Steve has also published “Hot Tips for Successful Mediations” in The Family Law Commentator for The Florida Bar; co-presented portions of a seminar sponsored by National Business Institute, and others. He is founding member and organizer of the Collaborative Lawyers of SW Florida and is actively involved in a number of civic organizations.

Steve was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1979. He received his B.S., cum laude, in chemistry and pre-medical studies from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida, in 1973. In May 1978 he received his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. Honors include Dean’s List and Lawyer of the Americas Student Board.

Seeing as a tenant can only be evicted through the courts, you would have to go down to the housing court and file for eviction.. . If you are talking about terminating a tenancy, Google your state + termination notice and see what comes up.

help....please??? (I'M DESPERATE!)?

Is it illegal to use a company name in a Facebook group? For example:. . "People who love Yahoo! Answers". "Google vs Yahoo...the count to 2,000". "Don't eat at McDonalds".

here's the thing..I went to this interview a few weeks ago, and the coordinator call me earlier this week to tell me they picked me among the candidates, I filled all the paper work, including w4,life insurance, bank account info for the payroll, I was sent to get fingerprinted,so on..the problem is they asked me for 3 reference letters, 2 letters are good but in one of them they dont seem to get a hold with the person who did it ,which is my former boss, so they told me that if it doesn't go through is not valid, and by law they need 3 letters. . so, is it really that important? I dont have anymore former employers to ask for a letter. thoughts please.

You are asking for free legal advice. Anyone who is not licensed to practice law would be guilty of practicing without a license even if they give you the correct answer, so you should seek advice from an attorney.

*Thanks you* very much for a very well thought out and balanced answers to my questions..
