WHAT DOES THIS OLD JAY-Z LINE MEAN?

Absolutely! Anything is better then this current system where PROFIT determines your health care.. . The old anti-universal health care line is: "Do you really want government health bueracrats deciding your health plan instead of your doctor?". . Well right now we dont have health bueracrats deciding things... nor do we have doctors, nurses or patients deciding things. We have greedy insurance company agents who make BONUSES for denying claims deciding things.. . Gee thats much better. *sarcasm*. . Last I checked the post office gets a letter from california to new york for 43 cents in about 2-3 days. If our health system was half that efficient I'd be satisfied. So give me the government bueracrats any day of the week.. . Oh.. and the whole "but things are so terrible in univeral health care countries". Thats BS. The british, french, swedes, and whoever else LOVE their damn health care systems. And the proof is in the pudding.... They live longer then us, have lower infant mortality rates and overall better health numbers for their population.. . Part of that is preventative care... which they wholeheartedly do for free. Which by the way is often denied here.. . And to respond to the to the insurance broker.... I've worked in the P&C, personal injury and health insurance lines for thirteen years at three large companies in Connecticut.. . Yeah, some jobs might be in jeopardy. But so the F what? So your job is more important then the betterment of our entire society?. People who used to make asbestos are out of work too. Sometimes you gotta move on. And seriously... if you work in the industry you should know how freakin dirty it is. I got back into P&C because it makes me feel slightly less dirty.... . EDIT: and the whole "canadians coming to the US because they need better care?" is BS too. Actually its US citizens going to canada for their drugs and treatments which is the real clue to what's happening. Get the facts people, stop with the propaganda.
