Your letter of resignation is a legal document, what they have just done is ignore that legal document. You have handed it over, and therefore, you are fully entitled (with the right notice) to leave the company and continue with your other job.. . Your superiors have a legal obligation to look into any and all complaints about any member of staff that are made in writing, for more information on this, you can see your companies "complaints policy" pack, which they will have to have by law. Whilst they are not obligated to do anything about it, they do have an obligation to take all complaints seriously, and violation of this can be reported to the trade union or other partners of the company.. . The manager cannot insist on anyone working anything more than their present hours, period. They can offer the overtime, however if it is declined, they cannot force anyone to do so. If they react then that is breach of contract, and if they fire you for it, that is unfair dismissal. And that's for being paid!. . Expecting and insisting someone to work for free is insane, and in complete violation of their position and job role. I'm sure I've responded to your other posts, but legally, they don't have 2 legs to stand on if you take the correct measures.. . Make sure all this is documented and reported to the appropriate people, you can often find out who these are by asking the trade union or any information and advice helplines who can direct you a lot better than I can.. . In essence, they're a bunch of bastards who are abusing their responsibilities. A little legal pressure will go a long way.

They must know that a problem took place with your registration....or this site would be swamped with kids that do not register. Never heard of them doing such a thing....and I am sure that MANY register long after they should. Just do what they say...you have your proof.

I need to find a form or template for a person who owes and promises to pay x amount of money on a specific date. THANKS!.

Respectfully yours,. ____(MY NAME)___.

You need to talk to your county clerk's office. Start there. They'll tell you what you need to do. I don't know about VA, but in IL where I live it costs a couple hundred dollars. I'm not sure about the issue of being a minor -- you might have to wait until you're 18 or have your parents' consent. I really don't know about that. Also, saying "I don't like my given name" is a valid reason for wanting it changed, especially if you are a minor so obviously you're not trying to hide from debts or law enforcement.. . You file the form with the court, you run a notice in the local newspaper for four weeks, then you appear in front of the judge so that he/she can ask you some questions about why you want your name changed, and then you pay the fee. You get a court document showing proof of name change. That's how it works here, and it's probably similar where you live.
