• John P. Gianfortune attended the University of Scranton where he received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Business in 1984. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1990, graduating Cum Laude and in the top 10% of his law school class. I am looking for a free downloadable template for "cease and desist letter" I have a creditor that continues to call EVERYDAY like clock work. Since causing the debt, I have become increasingly disabled and cannot work. My income is lower then dirt. Does anyone know of a free site to get this template? I have tried the search engine and continue to find letters for persons that are filing bankruptcy. I am not doing so. And in reality do not forsee paying this debt off even in the near future. "unless win lottery" oops need to buy ticket...that is not in my pitiful budget. Barely able to live, basic food shelter phone and of course car payment. I was told that a car is not as important as this bill of four hundred dollars. Per them. I need this letter to get them to quit calling me. I believe that is the course of action..

As to the reassessment upon transfer under Prop. 13, the law provides that if a parent or parents transfer any type of real property to his/her/their children, the transfer does not constitute a change in ownership that would trigger a reassessment of the property for property tax purposes. The same is true for transfers between grandparents and their grandchildren, as well as the reverse direction.. . This exemption applies to a transfer of a principal residence regardless of value, but only to the first one million dollars of "full cash value", and applies separately to each eligible transferor. For example, a married couple may transfer up to a total of two million dollars in real property. A transfer between siblings is not exempt from property tax reassessment. A claim for exemption must be filed with the local county assessor's office within 3 years of the date of purchase or transfer of real property, but is considered timely if filed within 6 months.
