    Tough

Cross Law Firm founder, Nola J. Hitchcock Cross, is known among the Wisconsin legal, labor and business communities for her ability to cut to the chase, identify the problem and push through a solution. She is efficient, direct and fiercely focused on her clients' objectives. Cross Law Firm is known by opposing counsel as being a tough opponent.

    Proactive

At Cross Law Firm, our aim is to keep problems from arising. We are frequently involved in employment and business litigation that is based on contracts and agreements that do not stand up to a challenge. We have represented many employees in wrongful discharge, discrimination and harassment lawsuits, in which addressing the unlawful conduct with the employer up front could have effectively resolved the problem much earlier. We believe that a great deal of conflict can be avoided with properly drafted employment agreements, thoughtful pre-termination intervention, frank discussions with employers and various other proactive strategies. It is crucial for small business to have proactive attorneys to prevent legal entanglements.

    Thorough

Our team approach to the practice of law is unique. For example, when an individual comes to us with a sexual harassment case, we draw on our knowledge on our long experience of trying and settling sexual harassment lawsuits to determine what the claim can generate in terms of results, but we also review the potential for other claims not initially recognized by the client. We do not litigate for the sake of litigating - we represent a client only to the degree that the claim is worthy. When there is no claim, we work with the client to get a good severance agreement and / or an appropriate employer recommendation. Often a team of attorneys assists on the case to best utilize skills to the client's advantage.

    Confidential

Our clients come from all walks of life: from a secretary with an age discrimination claim, to a CEO who needs to negotiate a severance agreement, to a local ironworker's union involved in the collective bargaining process. Many of our clients do not want anyone to know a lawyer is representing them. If you need our assistance to be low-key or entirely behind the scenes, we are pleased to accommodate you.

Joomla! has free templates as it's open source but you'll need a basic knowledge of cms and probably some html would help too.. Webs has free templates which are split into different categories ie business, personal and then it has subcategories too eg music, art. Most of them have options for a blog, photo library, videos, members area. There's additional functionality that you have to pay for but I've never used it. They also have a free web stats package.. I've used both. I must admit I find Joomla! a bit tricky (and I've worked on websites for years but my html is a bit rusty!). . Webs is very easy. I opted for the free version which means they run ads on my site but they are always for reputable companies so I don't have a problem with that. For a small fee, you can use the webs templates without adverts. I set up a website with webs in a few hours. It's that simple.. Hope this helps.

You can. You should do it like this.. . This agreement is between My Company, Ltd. ("MyCo") and ABC Co., Inc. ("ABC"). MyCo and ABC agree to...... . Then throughout the rest of the letter you can call your company ABC.

The SSN website will be more helpful than Y!A.. . There's some bits of information missing to properly answer the "can I get in trouble" part.. . Not everyone that gets married changes their surname. If you're still using your maiden name on all legal documents, there's nothing to worry about. The name change doesn't happen automatically, but most agencies do it for free / expedited when there's a marriage.. . If you have changed your name with your employer (payroll) and bank accounts, there may be some problems with your taxes and social security benefits since the names won't match. This should be simple to straighten out by number, but will be an extra hassle at some point.. . If you've changed your name on your passport and/or driver's license there could be some additional hassles in the future. Additionally, if you've changed your name on your credit accounts, but not your SSN number, your credit report will appear as though you're using an alias.

we would be leaving early but that we would pay the month in full. I told him that once the apt was clean I would call him to do the inspection. A week later, he went into our apt and threw away the things we had left there, saying he assumed that we were "gone" and didn't want them. I had not called him to let him know we were "gone" yet. I want to send a certified letter demanding the pro-rated amt of the rest of the month back, plus the security deposit. However, I'm not sure how to sound professional about it. Any help? A template maybe?. I didn't give 30 days notice because we were going to pay (and did pay) through the remainder of the lease.. He said that what he can "do" for me is to give me our secuity deposit back - so he's planning on doing that already. But the way I see it, we were going to get it back anyways because we didn't do any damage, so he's not really giving us anything for having tossed our stuff..

To the Management:. . I wanted to express my appreciation for the superior service I received during my stay at the ____ Hotel. In particular, "Betty", "Sue" and "Joe" were very helpful and deserve a great deal of praise for their excellent customer service.

Have you planned yet on a college ? If your parents are living in Houston is there a nearby college that would suit you. ?. . A lot depends on how mature you are. Your friends arent going to want to have to push you , or constantly remind you to study
