• Having been born in Trinidad and Tobago and moving here when I was a child, I've come to appreciate the American Dream and the importance of owning a home. This is why my clients and their dreams and desires to take part in this American Dream fuels my passion for the law and the work that I do at the Law Offices of Daryl L. Jones, P.A.

  I bring my experience in real estate transactions and civil litigation in both state and federal court to this firm. I graduated from the University Of Miami with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and International Studies. While I studied at UM, I worked at real estate boutique firm in Miami Lakes, FL. There, I gained experience in both residential and commercial real estate, though my focus was primarily on first time home buyers.

  After UM, I attended the University Of Florida Levin College Of Law. While pursuing my Juris Doctorate, I worked as a law clerk in an insurance defense firm in Gainesville, FL, thereby broadening my research and writing skills. I also interned in the chambers of General Magistrate Susan Miller-Jones of the 8th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.

  After I graduated from UF with my Juris Doctorate, I worked at a small boutique firm in Coral Gables. I researched and wrote state appellate briefs and helped in real estate transactions. Prior to joining The Law Offices of Daryl L. Jones, P.A., I participated in the fellowship program and was a fellow for the Honorable Paul C. Huck in the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida.

  Apart from my legal work, I am also involved in my community. I volunteer my time to Junior League Miami, an organization of women who give back to the community through different projects. I also sit on the corporate board of HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership) South Florida, an organization geared towards developing leadership skills in school students in south Florida.
