  • WELCOME

In 1976, Margaret Stafford began a law firm. She limited her scope of practice to claims for Wisconsin worker's compensation benefits for injured workers, and claims for social security disability or SSI benefits. Since then, the firm has continued to grow. John Neal joined the firm in 1981, Greg Meyer in 1985 until his retirement in 2004, Helen Schott in 1991 and, most recently, Chuck Soule in 2004.

Delivering consistently strong representation in worker's compensation claims doesn't just happen. It is a result of personal commitment and years spent practicing in the field. Margaret, John, and Helen each have years of experience working as administrative law judges for the State of Wisconsin Worker's Compensation Division. Helen served for several years as Bureau Director of the Worker's Compensation Judges. John originated and continues to co-write the Worker's Compensation Handbook, published by the State Bar of Wisconsin, which is used by worker's compensation attorneys and judges across Wisconsin.

The firm has over 100 years of combined experience in Wisconsin Worker's Compensation Law. Margaret, John and Helen have all been listed for over 10 years as "Best Lawyers in America" for Worker's Compensation Law. In addition, have been awarded the highest peer rating for professional excellence and ethics by Martindale Hubbell.

Over the years, the Stafford & Neal attorneys have appeared as speakers for numerous worker's compensation seminars presented to lawyers, doctors and other medical professional, labor groups, and the University of Wisconsin Extension-School for Workers. They have also represented the interests of injured workers by appearing in front of various legislative committees. The attorneys are currently advisors to labor representatives on the Wisconsin Worker's Compensation Advisory Council.

Today, 90% of the firm's work is representing injured workers in claims before the Wisconsin Worker's Compensation Division. The remainder is representing claimants before the Social Security Administration.

What best describes the atmosphere of Stafford & Neal, S.C.? The firm operates in a friendly, informal yet professional atmosphere. The attorneys frequently consult with each other to produce the best results for their clients. I'm 12 but I want my parents to change my last name. I have my mom's last name since her and my dad where never married but I want to have my father's last name. My mom is giving me the chance to change it and I would hope to change my last name. What's the process of changing my last name and is it possible to change it even though I'm not 18?.

You can use any kind of application that is designed for creating images. I have never used Gimp before, but you can probably create a poster using it. You can using freaking Paint application to create a believable poster so you should be able to use your program as well. Just look at real posters from the Civil War era either in your text book or on Google so you get an idea of how they look and the feeling they give off. Then by changing the words and the images, you can practically create your own template just by copying right from a real poster. If you know how to use your program, it shouldn't be that hard.

In the UK you can legally change your name by deed poll i would think other countries have something similar i think you have to consult a scolicitor in the first instance if you want to go ahead with it

Thanks in advance for all who are able to provide answers on the below..

Be polite but firm. You're offering these guys a chance to make a boatload more money from their clients while also serving them.. . When you have that arrangement in place, you will get a lot of leads and after the initial investment they will all be free, prequalified, WARM, EXPECTING YOUR CALL and ready to talk.. . The same process works for P&C firms that do not also write life contracts. A sweetener is that you can offer to direct your existing book of business to them to give them the opportunity to quote on your client's home and auto, etc.. . Good luck and remember - it's a relationship business. Stress how you can help them serve their clients better while making more money, so everyone is on the winning side.
