She was also the Co-Director of NWLSA Sojourner Truth National Moot Court Trial Competition and participated in the Moot Court Honor Board Interscholastic Mock Trial Competition. In addition, Nicole was a Legal Intern in the criminal division of the Rhode Island Attorney General's Office as well as a Student Prosecutor (Rule 3.03 Certified) for the Massachusetts Middlesex County District Attorney's Office (Lowell).

  Nicole achieved her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 2000 from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and was a member of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology. Nicole is a brother of the Alpha Phi Omega, Kappa Omicron Chapter – A national co-ed fraternity dedicated to community service, where she held many board positions including Academic Chair, Rush Coordinator and Nominations Committee.
