Create your own State Constitution to set up how you want to establish how people get things done. You can take bits and pieces from different states that you can find online. Use your own state as a model but think about how different states either limit government or allow for government to take over all the citizens responsibilities. Like California allows for referenda to tell people in Sacramento what to do. Some states like PA, OH and TX elect judges, but states in the Northeast do not, they're appointed by the Governor. If you want to delegate a lot of authority to the Executive branch, have elections for the Governor every six years. If you want to keep the Governor on a tight leash, hold your elections every two years like NH so you can vote him out if things are not doing well. You can have statewide elections for Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Commissioner of Railroads, Education Commissioner, Human Services Director, Director of Public Safety like many states or you can set it up so only the Governor is elected by the people and then the Governor appoints people to all those positions. So it depends on how your Constitution is set up to know who these folks answer to: the Governor who appoints them or the people who elect them. You can even stick in a "Right of Revolution" like they have in several state constitutions:. New Hampshire is one of four states, along with Kentucky, Maryland and Texas, which provide for a "Right of Revolution" in their state constitutions. The Right of Revolution is a right dating back to the Revolutionary War, and is held in high regard in New Hampshire by members of the libertarian Free State Project. Part I., Article 10 reads:. ? I live out of state (WI) and plan to buy a condo/house that can be rented at about $800-$1000/month. I've read a lot online about beginner's real estate investment. . I still have questions on what taxes are like, what areas are more popular for renters, what the people are like in Miami, insurance, hurricanes and rain and other weather stuff, and anything else that I think I need to look out for. . I plan to be down there in a month or so, but if anyone could give me their input before being down there, that would be wonderful!.
