• Clara was born in Northern Illinois and raised in Northern Arizona.? After working as a ski instructor and owning and operating a bed and breakfast in Winter Park, Colorado, Clara returned to college as an adult, singularly determined to become a strong and effective advocate for those who were struggling with family law issues.

  Clara attended the University of Colorado in Boulder where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa honor society and graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 grade point average. She received the highest departmental honors awarded and received a Jacob Van Eck award for scholarship and community service, all while raising three children as a single parent.

  As a law student at the University of Colorado, Clara participated in the CU Juvenile Law Clinic where she worked as a Guardian ad litem representing children whose parents were going through dependency and neglect proceedings.? During her last year of law school, as well as for several months after graduation, Clara interned with two Denver District Court judges who had domestic relations dockets.? Clara graduated from law school with a family law certificate with honors as well as a pro bono service award; however, the law school award of which Clara is most proud was her receipt of the much coveted grand prize in the annual law school chili cook-off: Clara won for her “Habeus Porkus” green chili with pork and posole.??

You cannot do it for free.. If you are in the UK or US, you must visit a government office, such as a registrar or court, and ask for the documentation to get your name changed. You cannot change your name to anything explicit or illegal. . You may not be able to change the birth certificate at all. It cannot be done normally.. This is controlled by the mother, and you'd have to go through a court system to get this changed.. Ask Citizens Advice Bureau, but most likely, you will have to ask the mother personally to get it changed through court, sue her, and you may need a DNA test to prove you are the father.. . None of those things are cheap, and may not be allowed.
