• Marissa Kahen was born in Brooklyn, New York. A graduate of Brown University and Boston University School of Law, Marissa practiced law in the New York Metropolitan area for over 16 years before heading west to Colorado. An accomplished litigator, Marissa's practice has encompassed a diverse caseload including real estate with an emphasis on cooperative and condominium matters, corporate, commercial and family law. From 1999 to 2005 Marissa was "Of Counsel" to a family law boutique in Garden City, New York. Her reported matrimonial decisions include Sass v. Sass, 276 A.D.2d 42,716 N.
