  • As an avid outdoors person, I love to camp, country dance, fish, and horseback ride. I am truly proud to call myself a Colorado Native.

I attended Colorado State University, receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in Spanish. I furthered my education by receiving my Juris Doctorate degree at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law (DU).

During my time at CSU, I interned for the Colorado 64th General Assembly for Senator Shawn Mitchell where I was awarded a Certificate of Commendation.?In addition, I founded CSU’s chapter of the National Political Science Honors Society and was voted in as President of the organization.?During this time I also founded the Political Science Club for those who were not eligible for honors.

After receiving my undergraduate degree, I moved to Arizona and worked as a Family Law Paralegal.??When I returned to Colorado, I attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where I chose to represent several clients, as a student attorney, through DU’s Criminal Law Clinic to gain in-court practical experience.?I was a staff editor for the University of Denver Water Law Review.? In March of 2008, I published?a comprehensive review of the annual Water Law Conference.?Furthermore, I participated in several mock trials and competitions and interned for two highly regarded family law firms.?

I am currently a Metro Volunteer Lawyer and I am a member of the Family Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association.?I also volunteer for Pikes Peak Pro Bono Project as well as Colorado Lawyers for Colorado Veterans and I am a member of the Denver Bar Association.

I am deeply drawn to the uniqueness of family law, personal injury law, and wills, trust & estates.?All of these have a special component that no other type of law has -?emotion.

My mission is to protect my clients from the often times abusive emotions that dominate?many cases.? I understand how intimidating and overwhelming the legal system can be. Allow me to take on?your legal burdens?so you may better manage the emotional aspects of your case. We can work together to ensure the beginning of a promising new chapter in your life.
