In other words have one joint account where you bf can deposit his money and you can write the checks. He might want to consider automatic deposit and automatic payments. He can do this through his bank or through the banks that he owes the money to. He can also have a stipend automatically sent to you each month to pay the bills. The only thing you won't be able to do is ask questions of the bank if there is a problem. I'm not sure they would reveal any account information even with the power of attorney. (Don't be offended, they won't reveal information even if you are married to him, if your name is not on the account.). . As far as vehicle registration is concerned, you can go to the BMV where you get your tags and pick up one there that doesn't even have to be notarized. All he has to do is sign it and you take it in when you get the tags.. .
