You can get Specific POAs and they are a good idea, one can actually list the Specifics you want. If you have a vehicle in your name that she will be driving then there should be a POA for that in case something happens to it while you are gone (ie accident), the banks/credit unions & insurance companies can require one for it. Housing whether you live in military, a rental or a mortgaged house she can need that, especially with a rental if just yours or both names are on the lease because the rental agreement can need to be renewed. She will also need one to get a new ID card in case her wallet gets stolen or the ID is lost.
