I do it all the time. But thanks for suggesting that other people do it.

You are hired. If I'm a hiring manager I would have you in for an interview to make sure you are what you said you are. That's one milestone of achievement and accomplishment. Good job. But it's too long with too many words making those pertinent points lost in the crowded paragraphs of words. Make your covering letter short, precise and like a briefing format with a punch. It should be like a thriller, a preview to attract immediate attention and grasp the readers interest. The resume is where you emphasize a compilations of everything you have done and preferably also should be formatted like a caption or headlines with a short description of explanation and tone down a bit to avoid too much proposals guarantees or promises which may compromise even jeopardize your integrity like coming on too assertive and thus making you look arrogant. Remember the hiring manager can get intimidated too for his own job security if you overpower him '

Okay, so my school has a little newspaper, and they pretend it's a big deal. Anyway, on the back it says stuff about sending a letter to the editor. Its the basic stuff. But the last part says that they reserve the right to edit all letters that are sent to them (or handed). I'm wondering whether or not to write them the following letter:.

Have you even bothered to look for legal help? You post on YA this long and rambling thing. Really? Even if someone was to give you good advice, you would still have to follow it. Contact a Lawyer. Someone you can sit down with and then the guy is going to take care of it in about ten minutes. The ACLU is a good place to start. They can't help you, but they have a list of Lawyers that can and will. I don't know why people are so afraid of lawyers and asserting their rights. When it comes down to it and you need someone to help, an Attorney is always the first place to go. If you lived in my State, I would take your problem on and it would be finished. Done. Please follow my advice and seek Legal Representation. It will be free to you and your headache will be the Attorney's. And believe me, any one who takes cases on for free are passionate about it. You will have to do nothing more then be done with this whole thing. Good Luck to you!

Hall of Fame, along with the $10M cup of hot coffee at McDonalds. But somehow this one beats that one on artistic merit. Honorable Mention to Ohio woman who, after having a CAT-scan, successfully sued the hospital where it was performed because she had lost her psychic powers.. . I can imagine the courtroom scene. Attorney puts his client, the Plaintiff on the stand. "I know this is going to be painful, Miss Jones, but please, close your eyes. Thank you. Now, would you please tell us how many fingers I am holding up?" [*Holds up three fingers a' la Johnnie Cochran with The Glove].. . Despairing sob from the witness, her eyes still closed, but streaming with tears, . "I DON'T KNOW!!!". . "There, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, you see the tragedy...". . Award was $750K -- turned over on appeal which is another reason yours rules forever, while mine became like only a drunken poem on a cocktail napkin in comparison.
