Is it a straightforward procedure to organise a lasting power of attorney?

I am not sure of the laws within your state, however most states you would need the other parents permission to change the child's name especially if he carries her name. Call your local court house and I am sure they can answer all of your questions. God bless****

simple question, complicated answer..... . if your invention is novel then the first step is to apply for a patent to protect you from someone else stealing it and claiming it is theirs. That's not a cheap or simple process, so you will be best to work with a patent specialist, maybe you can do a deal to reduce costs.. . WHATEVER you do, before you discuss ANYTHING with ANYBODY you MUST get them to sign a Non-disclosure agreement AND a non-competition agreement - so that they will not copy or pass on your idea to anyone else, or make it themselves and steal you hard work.
