I am the maid of honor for my brother and his fiance's wedding that is on August 16th. I have been dreading giving a speech because I do not do well speaking in front of large crowds. I also have no idea what to say. Does anybody have any good advice, or a website that will have examples of other maid of honor speeches that people have given so I can have some sort of a template? Please help...I really want them to know I put time into it.

I heard from TV news (possibly a year ago), there is a website providing template letter help to claim the late payment charges (credit card) from the bank. Would anyone please tell me where is the template letter or website link allowing me to argue with the bank?.

If a gift of $60,000 is made in one year the donor would file a gift tax return, form 709, and elect by checking the box on page two to spread the gift over a five year period. This allows you to make five years worth of gifts in one year without incurring a gift tax or using part of the $1,000,000 lifetime gift exclusion.. If the person making the gift dies within the five years their estate would report the gift amount representing $12,000 times the number of years left in the five year period. If they die in year two then $36,000 is reported by their estate. If they die in year four then $12,000 is reported. . By making gifts this amount is out of their estate and would not be subject to estate tax at their death.. Annual gifting works like compound interest, if it is done consistently a large amount of wealth can be transferred to the next generation outside of the estate tax regime. Gifting can keep a non-taxable estate from becoming a taxable estate. It can help family members now when they may need help the most. In the case of the 529 account it transfers a large amount that is invested for a longer period and help accumulate more income that may never be taxable.. Good Luck!

So, I have my cover letter written, I'm happy with it, proof read and no errors. But I absolutely despise the all white (and black) cover letter. So I've been looking for a different template/layout for it, but I can't seem to find one. I've tried all of the Word document letter templates but they don't quite work. Do you have any suggestions of how I can visually make my cover letter look different? I really want it to stand out from the pack.. You're right. I don't want colors and what my cover letter says about me is far more important. However, I just want a more visually appealing layout for it -- just a slightly different format so that it doesn't look like every other cover letter that is plopped down on his desk..
