For example, let's say a bill is passed in my state, and I highly oppose it and have obvious proof that the bill would be counter-effective. And so I send a letter describing why to my governor, senator, and representative, and I get a response that I feel is unfair (such as if it seems as though my letter was not read or understood correctly, or that their ruling was based upon their personal preferences). Who then would I send it to? Is there anyone "higher up" that I should send it to? Should I make a petition?. @jaker - You're so right, history would have been so much better if people just lied back and accepted the policies of government without argument. How wonderful would the world be if we were still forced to follow specific religions and slavery was never abolished!. . You can't be serious....
