There is a lady we know that has terminal cancer and needs to sell her car. The final installment payment has been made, and they said that the title will arrive in one month, but we're not sure if she'll make it to one month to transfer the vehicle to someone else by signing the title. We are selling the car for her and using it to fund her funeral and giving the rest to the daughter.. . Is there any way to transfer/sell the car without the title right now? Someone said we should use the vehicle transfer/reassignment form from the DMV but I can't really find information on this.. . I'd really rather not have to go through creating a will, because we can't afford to hire an attorney or notarizer or whatever to makes sure that the will is legitimate.

What is the correct form to take in petitioning the court via letter to the judge?

My last name was changed, but in a different state, in NV. I was technically abandoned by my father. My mother's husband wanted to adopt me. The process was they had to run a legal ad in the paper where my father's last known address was, and where known family of his lived, for three months. If there was no response to the add, their lawyer would file the paperwork with a judge and my name was changed.

. Thankyou in advanced, If you know the answer to one of the question please reply!! and put the number of the question and the answer please THANKYOUU.

I was born with the surname jones, thats the name that appears on my birth certificate. But around the age 11 my mum contacted a British solicitor asking to change it to her surname (wilson) as my father played no active role in my life (so why have his name). The solicitor gave us 3 letters to hand out to people saying i should now be called Wilson, not Jones. Now though i'm in my 30's and while all my paperwork is in the name Wilson i wonder if its actually official. My mother kept none of the letters stating the name change and my bank account is only in my name Wilson as a lady at the bank was kind enough to trust me, that bank account was enough to prove to other people i was in fact Wilson. I'm planning on getting married soon and getting a passport, but what is my actual surname, i have no proof of the name change, so wonder am i still Jones or am i officially wilson (and what can i send to the passport company to prove this). . If i am still Jones how do i go about changing it officially, without it costing a fortune.. Thanks in advance.

What, you might ask, did the soldiers and common folk get out of this. Answer: death mostly, a bit of Plague, and a long wait for some basic rights.
