Fashion models (for just about any company) are typically chosen from "go-sees" or "castings." At a go-see, agencies send out models for the fashion company to check out for each specific modeling job, and after looking at all of them, the company chooses the ones they'd like to use for that job.. . So, to model for VS or just about any other fashion company, you need to get a modeling agent. What you need to do is find out which modeling agencies are in your town or area, then get online and find out exactly what they require in the way of "submissions." This means how do you submit your photos to them. These days most agencies want you to email them, some want them snail-mailed, some will accept either. Also this page will probably tell you what kind of photos they want you to send. They probably want a couple of close-up face shots (maybe one smiling, one serious) plus a full-body shot.. . Don't stress about getting professional photos or a portfolio. You don't need that to submit to an agency. Have a friend take some photos of your and pick the best ones. If you have a friend that knows their way around the camera, that is great, but just get shots that are in focus and show your features well. Don't have anyone else in the photo, don't wear a hat, don't hold a pet. Just good photos that show your beauty.. . Then following the instructions on their submission page, send in your photos plus your name, age, height, weight, measurements, etc. along with a polite, business-like cover letter. If they are interested they will call you for an interview. It might be the next day or it might be months later. Submit your photos to all agencies in your area because one might accept you and the other might not.. . Do some online research to make sure the agencies are not scammers. Don't pay anyone for a portfolio, and don't pay for a modeling school. If an agency likes your looks and is interested in you, they will sign you and then show you what to do. It's modeling, not rocket science. Don't pay anybody for anything. If an agency signs you and gets you jobs, they take a cut of your pay. that is how agencies make money.. . I think with your height and lean body an agency may be interested in you. It is a highly competitive career path, but you never know until you try. If an agency offers you a contract, let them know of your dream to model for Victoria's Secret and perhaps they will send you on "go-sees" for VS jobs if there are any in your area, or email your photos to their casting directors. Then if you are very lucky, the VS people will choose you to model for them.
