Need Help on my Cover Letter!!?

hi, my friend had a baby 2 weeks ago & is now unhappy with the name she chose for the baby.. . i know years ago you could just go to the registry office if the baby was under 1 year old, make changes & be issued with a new birth certificate.. . does anyone know if this is still possible, or does it have to be done through the courts or by deed poll now?. i know years ago you could just go to the registry office if the baby was under 1 year old, make changes & be issued with a new birth certificate.. . does anyone know if this is still possible, or does it have to be done through the courts or by deed poll now?. . also, i think the baby has the fathers surname & she is thinking of changing the surname to hers. can she do this without the father present or does he have to be there?.

I admit I am not a "pro" but I have had a lot of experience over the past couple of decades clearing out and/or organizing homes and estates of friends and family members. I have found that the least stressful way to handle it (especially when dealing with people who have sentimental attachments to stuff or are borderline or full-fledged hoarders) is to concentrate on sorting EVERYTHING into closely related piles or boxes. Rather than judging whether an individual item is old or new, special or not, disposable or not, it seems to work better to get everything in one pile, like ALL jewelry, ALL shoes, ALL family photos, ALL books, etc. Once the person sees how much they have of a single category of item, it seems to be easier for them to evaluate what is worth keeping or not. It also gives you a better idea as the organizer of what volume of storage you need to account for to get that collection put away.

I changed the spelling of my first name (Erica changed to Erika), because I have always preferred the spelling with "k" instead of "c". You can change you name for any reason you want to. You will probably have to go to the county court and fill out a name change form (bring ID!) and pay a fee. Then you just wait for a court date to have the judge officially change it. (For mine, they had about 50 people doing a name change in one session, everyone just had to state their current name & that they were not changing name for criminal reasons, etc. - then the judge called everyone up one by one as he signed off the paperwork). Afterwards, you do have to make sure your name gets changed on all your bills, medical records, social security card, etc. - you usually have to send them a copy of your name change form signed by the judge, so make plenty of copies :)

An application without without a cover letter will get you nowhere, the employer will think you are lazy and not serious about the position you are applying for. If you couldn't even take one hour of your time to write a cover letter why should the employer bother.
