Dear Prish,. . A husband-wife relationship depends, survives and flourishes on mutual trust, respect and co-operation and sharing of mutual responsibilites. But before these things to take decisive shape they must have liking for and develop a sense of belonging mutually, in order to allow other factors to sprout, emerge and shape their destiny as a well-meaning couple.
no. well, yes to not needing lawyers, but you would at least need a court mediator to make arangements with and have the judge sign off on the agreement.. Otherwise, no, it is not a legal agrement. If it was a car, or anything "material", then yes verbal or written agreement between 2 parties is legal. But that does not hold up when in regards to children and visitation.. But if both parties can come to terms w/o any court involvement, sure why not. Just be darn sure they will stand by what they agreed on. If not, court may end up in your future anyway. best to do it legally now.... it doesn't have to be an ugly battle either. just see a mediator, and done. it can be done in an hour. (you'll have to set a court date first though, you can't just walk in and ask to see a mediator). good luck
