They have been selected by their peers for the Leading Lawyers Network and The Best Lawyers in America. In December 2009, and again in 2012, Leading Lawyers Network Magazine: Consumer Edition ranked Mr. Glass No. 5 in the state for lawyers who represent injured workers. He was the only attorney of the top 10 who wasn't from Chicago or Rockford. Michael Korein has been ranked one of the three best workers compensation attorneys by St. Louis Magazine since 2007, and the only one of the three to represent injured workers. Our attorneys have provided training to other lawyers in all aspects of handling workers' compensation cases at numerous meetings and seminars, and are frequently requested speakers at local labor union meetings.

We understand the workers' compensation process and related issues after a work-related injury can be overwhelming for workers and their families. We focus on helping our clients take care of what they cannot do on their own, by facing employer and insurance company representatives with the needed strategies and tactics to level the playing field.

To learn more about how we can assist you with your workers' compensation issue in Southern Illinois, call 618-216-5218 or toll free 888-504-7059. Weekend and evening appointments are available. We serve our clients on a contingency fee basis; you will not pay us unless and until we have done our job and collected what you're entitled to under the Illinois laws written to protect workers who suffer injuries or illnesses from doing their jobs.

I suggest that you do it similar to a [birthday] card [retirement card], rather than a letter ..

Sorry you can't legally do it as he has PR and has already stopped you in the past. You can ask her school to have her know as your surname but on legal documents she will have to stay the same.. . If you do it behind his back, which some do, and he finds out and takes you to court again you could get in trouble because you have done this already and know it to be wrong.. . Remember like it or not her surname is part of her Identity and her roots, all that matters is that she is loved by you and your husband. . I KNOW I'M RIGHT BECAUSE my 2nd husband is a family law solicitor in England and we would of loved to have changed my eldest but couldn't, if there was a legal way around it we would of.

Check the wording on the Contract!. . If, as you say, your work contract states that I "should" be paid weekly, then the "should" is open to interpretation.. . If you are wrong and it actually says something like "paid weekly at agreed blah blah" then you need to go through the complaints procedure first.

I want to change my last name, no i'm not getting married, no i haven't done anything wrong. My step-grandfather and grandmother took me in when i was 17 and did all the things a parent should have done so i want to take their name. . I looked on legal zoom but didn't get anything. Does anyone know about how much it would cost and where i would look?.
