• Amy Arlander practices in the area of eminent domain, real estate and commercial litigation. She represents clients in a variety of litigation matters, including contract disputes, zoning issues, and Rule 106 challenges to land use decisions. Prior to joining Alderman Bernstein LLC, Amy was a senior associate at Kamlet Shepherd & Reichert, LLP (n/k/a Lathrop & Gage, P.C.), where she represented individual and institutional clients in complex commercial litigation matters. Amy started her legal career at Kutak Rock LLP's Denver litigation department. She has also worked as a contract attorney for a preeminent boutique employment litigation firm.

  Amy obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, with majors in Political Science and Speech. Amy obtained her J.D. at University of Colorado School of Law in 2001. During law school, she participated in the Civil Legal Aid Program, representing clients in family law litigation matters.

  Amy was born and grew up in Los Angeles, California, where she was active as a competitive swimmer. She continued competitive swimming at St. Olaf College and earned NCAA Collegiate All-America Awards in 1985, 1986 and 1988. She currently lives in Lakewood, Colorado, with her husband and their two children. In her free time, Amy still enjoys swimming, as well as gardening, reading, and music, and she volunteers at church and her children's schools.
