By Taking Care Of Business, We Take Care Of You | Dayton Business Law Firm

It might sound odd for a law firm to claim that it cares about its clients ... or is it? Martin, Folino, Harmon and Stachler has thrived for generations because we understand that we are an important part of a community. By meeting with clients, listening to their concerns and delivering meaningful solutions, we do our part to ensure that our community will thrive and to set the stage for repeat business.

It may seem like common sense to you, but not every law firm understands this fundamental truth: That "doing right by others" is how reputations are made, how businesses are built and why communities thrive. By looking out for each other, we look out for ourselves. We can honestly say that by taking care of business, we are taking care of you.

how a letter of credit is opened?

Does the software just make it a lot easier and better looking? Do I need the software?.

I had an affair with a married man 17 years ago and left the state shortly after that. 2 months later, I found out I was pregnant. I contacted the father after I had my son and told him but I'm not sure he believed me. There has been NO contact since then, he is not on the birth certificate and my son was given my then divorced last name with no name listed under the father's info. My son has always gone by my maiden name and now it has become a problem since he has tried to get his drivers licence and his name was never legally changed. What steps do I need to go through to get his last name legally changed?? I can't afford to pay an attorney and would like to take care of this myself.. My son does have his drivers licence but the last name reflected on his license is the one on his birth certificate. He is known by all of his friends by my maiden name and I know this is going to cause more problems the older he gets..

being nervous is an honest emotion the judge will value. Just ensure you convey your 4 points you feel best represent you.. . Aim for an outcome that will keep this off or at least minimize it on your record. Perhaps one question for the judge is: "I start school next week and really want to move forward the "right" way....is there any way I could reduce the long-term effect of this offense on my permanent record?. . I am unfamiliar with under $200 shoplifting resulting in a court date, although I have heard of fines of $100-$500 paid directly to the store not wanting to bother with legal action. It is worth trying to make amends with the store before your court date. Be open to many possible outcomes from this: drop the charges (but don't count on it - it's their right to charge you), make community service arrangements with store, or simply make the store less angry with you in court because they see you're an honest person trying to right a wrong.. . See whether you and your mother can get a meeting ASAP with store management to discuss what you did was wrong and whether any punitive arrangements could be made, such as community service for the store. (Don't outright ask them to "drop the charges," which conveys you want them to forget about it -- be more sincere explain "what you did was wrong and you would hope to make amends for your wrongful actions outside of a criminal charge"). It's better to have an adult call to set the meeting and attend with you. Even if the store refuses to help you, be polite and say "well, thank you for meeting with me (or speaking with me on the phone). I'm sorry for what I did to your store and I hope you understand I have learned my lesson." Maybe in court, they'll at least speak less harshly of your actions to the judge if they've seen you in a different light. Everything is worth a try!. . Don't wait for a store meeting to arrange community service with them - start community service asap somewhere as the lawyers advised!. . Good luck!
