    I have been renting this house for almost 8 months now. Since day one, I have had issues with the landlord. Unless I call the town on her( 4 times) nothing gets done. She has had the house for the sale after 1 month of us moving in there. I finally found a place and gave my notice and now she wants to do open houses and bring people in to see the house. I have a lot of valuables that I am afraid that people might take it. is there a template that i can have the landlord and real estate agent sign that will account them if anything is stolen out of my house? I don't move out until the end of the month..

    I was 21 and dumb... Had my car repo-ed. I made some payments to the leftover balance for a while until my step father told me that paying it back would do me no good. 5 years later, I am married with a baby and we just bought a house. I use a credit monitoring service bc I was working on rebuilding my credit for when we bought our home. I got an email saying my credit had been ran so I contacted the company who ran it. It's a collection company that bought my repo account. They are saying that they will settle but that they see new "assets" (assuming they mean my home) and they could take me to court if I don't pay it. They also told me they can keep it on my credit for 30 years which I thought anything past 7 was illegal. I would love to pay it just so I don't have to deal with it any more, but I don't really have that large amount of money right now nor do I want to fork over that kind of cash if it won't help the situation either way. Help?.

    I am renting out my wedding dress...but I don't want someone to rent it for the low price and then not return it again. at first I was thinking of having a security deposit that they il get back after they return it..but I think the high price of that is scaring people away. so I was thinking maybe I could write something up that the renter will sign saying she will return it. . but can I just write that up and make have her sign it and it will be legal?. Help please.
