legal question regarding custody?

For awhile I had 2 jobs. Company A and Company B. I worked for company B for several months and left on good terms because hours were not really available and I was losing too much by not picking up more hours at Company A. During my employment at copmpany B I was considered to be a model employee and resigned in the proper manner ( 2 week written letter of resignation). In my resignation letter I specially asked to be paid via direct deposit for my last paycheck, but this was apparently ignored. At the last minute I went to Europe for a mini vacation to recover from severe stress ( I had been injured at company A and developed a severe infection that damaged my kidneys and I lost over 20 pounds in less than a month, as well as had a severe reaction to the anti biotics I was given). I assumed that my last paycheck would automatically be deposited into my account while I was in Europe and sadly it was not. I had to send in a fax requesting that friend pick it up for me as a result. The person in charge of payrol/Human Resources did not bother to read my emails requesting that someone pick up my last paycheck and that I was in Europe, as she kept mentioning that she would Fed Ex it to me. It took 6 emails and 3 faxes before she realized that I was not avaialble to get it personally and that a friend had to get it for me because I was in Europe. I fear that all of this upset her and/or the store manager and they think I quit so I could party in Europe. And that all of the above is the reason why they are not re-hiring me now. For since I have returned to the states I have re-applied to several positions that I am even more qualified for than the one I was initially hired for. I sometimes get a rejection email mere moments after I have submitted an application online, yet the position remains available online and has even been respoted again and again as unfilled. Legally and technically speaking, I am elligible for being re-hired, but I fear I might have been blacklisted in the system by the HR manager of company B. I even tested it by having friends with similar backgrounds, but less experience than me apply for the same posistions as I did online. They have all gotten interviews, while I have not. Is this something I can take legal action against or is this something companies can legally do? Blacklist employees because they don't like them or because they didn't bother to read emails that are part of their job in the first place? How would I go about taking legal action and/or proving this in the first place? How can I get the blacklisting removed so I could work for another Campany B location?.

Unfortunately, there are more than a few disreputable agents who will make you promises they cannot keep and get you to spend inordinate amounts of money for portfolio photos you do not need, so you might find yourself spinning your wheels and going no where. There are many pitfalls in the business, so learning them before you seek an agent is to your definite advantage. There are ways to tell which agents are reputable and which are not so much so. If you wish to know what to look for in a reputable agency, just ask me and I will be glad to enlighten you.. . One of the most important lessons you will need to learn is to accept rejection and not take it personally. You will not get every job you audition for as, while there may be nothing wrong with your look, it is just not the look the client is after for that particular gig. If not immediately accepted by your first choices of agencies (especially the premiere ones), there are others that can give you a good start while you build a reputation. Persistence counts, so don?t give up on your dream as long as you are realistic about your chances.. . If I can give you more advice than I have to help you - please feel free to IM me, if you wish.. . docster45 on YIM
