    I want to ask some other people who know me in a professional capacity as well if they can provide a reference. I'm sure they will agree to it.. . However, I know these people are incredibly busy with their own lives. And these are people I can talk to on a pretty informal basis. Is it appropriate for me to offer to write the letter for them to save them some time???? Like ask them for a gist of what they would want to say and draft it, let them sign, etc.??? Is that appropriate and how would I phrase it?.
