good question. You can change your name legally or just because you are a free citizen. I mean, that you can have people call you any name you wish. Much like the actors and actress use stage names. They use it to be Secret when checking into hotels, etc.. . You can do it legally. this means you file a petition for a name change through the court. When you do this they will ask for your current name and social security number. They will ask you questions to make sure that you are not changing your name to avoid a lawsuit, debts, taxes etc. Once this is complete then they grant it.. . You will get an order stating the facts. You old name and your new name, and the court that granted it. With this you should send to all credit reporting agencies with a letter telling them to update this information.. . The name change will not affect the credit rating. because nothing that has to do with the FICO system has to do with a name change.

is it the banks that sell foreclosed homes or real estate companies that sell the foreclosed homes? I always though real estate companies sold homes that are not foreclosures..

As an employer who reads a lot of horrible cover letters, I agree that cover letters make me crazy. I don't have a template, but I'll tell you what I see all the time. Please do not make your cover letter sound like a form letter. It is so obvious when people have a one-size-fits-all cover letter that they just cut and paste the company's name. It is very aggravating, and especially bad when it's got the wrong company in there! Another aggravating example is when people say something like, I really want to work for a large multinational firm like yours (when we are a small business). Say something about what interests you about that job or that company, and then a few things about how your experience would fit there. Don't make it too long, and don't make it just a repeat of your resume.

You could just email a Word document, from a template, all around and either use the date stamp or some sort of code so people know when it has been updated. Looking at Microsoft Office there is a function called "Skydrive" that saves things in the cloud so they can be shared remotely. I have no experience with it but it's probably what you are looking for. There are other such things out there, too. You could maybe even use Flickr or something, even though those are based on pics.

First Paragraph: . The first paragraph of your letter should include information on why you are writing. Mention the position you are applying for. Include the name of a mutual contact, if you have one. Be clear and concise regarding your request. Convince the reader that they should grant the interview or appointment you requested in the first paragraph.
