  • John joined the firm in 2009 upon graduating from Regent University School of Law. While at Regent, John was awarded the John W. McCormick Spiritual Leadership Prize and the Alliance Defense Fund Scholarship. In 2007, John was selected to be a Blackstone Fellow by the Alliance Defense Fund.

    John received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina in 2004. While at USC, John was involved with Reformed University Fellowship and worked in the S.C. Senate for the Honorable Warren K. Giese. Prior to USC, he attended Covenant College where he received a soccer scholarship. In the summer of 1998, he worked in Washington, D.C. for U.S. Senator Strom Thurmond.

    John is a native of Columbia, South Carolina. He is married to the former Christine Zaepfel of Chapin, South Carolina. John and Christine have three sons. They are active members of Grace Presbyterian Church of Northeast Columbia where he is an elder and assists in leading the music.??While not practicing law, John enjoys spending time with his family, golf, playing guitar, the outdoors, and anything sports or music related.
