Have a friend that is excellent in English, a prelaw student, or an English major, help you draft an invoice and request for payment letter. You may be able to find a template online or as part of your word processing program.

Probably not. But if he could get me a good settlement I might use him.. . How do you find a good attorney when you need one? I am not joking.. . UPDATE: The Attorneys that advertise on TV are usually "contingency" attorneys. They only get paid if they recover money for you. They typically keep 1/3 to 1/2 of what is collected. They want good cases with high damages. It is pointless for them to bring "frivolous" lawsuits because they will lose the court costs and not make a penny.. . I worked as a Paralegal for many different kinds of attorneys for a number of years. If anybody has a reason to hate attorneys it's me. But having worked in the legal system, the contingency attorney is the only person whose going to try and help you when you get hurt. Or are you going to hire a top drawer law firm at $250 to $700 dollars per hour?. . Attorneys are like sharks, they serve a necessary role in the legal "ecosystem."

I've been asked to write a hardship letter in order to prevent my husband from being deported...we have 2 daughters together but our lawyer said that they nor my husband count for this...the letter has to be solely on me and i feel so much pressure...i feel if i dont write this right then he could be deported bcz of me.....has anyone had to write one before? How do you word things? How do you explain?. our lawyer is a board certified immigration and nationality lawyer........hes applying for the waiver but has also requested this letter.

We just moved into a new house and are putting up a privacy fence - in order to do this, we need to take down one side of the neighbors chain linked fence. The neighbor is okay with this as long as we have something in writing stating that the shared fence is neutral, that we both share it and if we were to move out there would be a clause in our sale stating that if the new owners were to remove the fence then they would have to replace it with a chain-linked fence. What type of legal form do I need or what kind of language needs to be included?.

My grand father is in a nursing home but owns a home . The house is in need of repair but he is on Medicaid/Medicare. I know if he passes in the nursing home the state can file estate recovery. My question is if I live in the house can they take it from me when he passes since I'll be the current owner. Also under estate recovery in Pennsylvania , the house cannot be taken from you if it's purchased for fair market value. My question to that is will it be sold normally as other houses are and be open for negogiation since it's in need of repairs and has back taxes , what would the outcome be ... . Please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
