• Pam Taylor represents companies in antitrust matters. Her practice includes government antitrust investigations and enforcement actions before the Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Justice Antitrust Division. This shows that the completion of the creation of man is the circumcision - thus fulfilling God's statement of "let us make man,? since it is us who complete the creation by circumcising the baby boy at eight days old. Similarly, in the spiritual realm, the Shabbos is the final act that completes the spiritual realm- and that is once again in the hangds of man to perform and thus to choose whether he will be a partner with God or not.. . 2) According to the Ramban (Rabbi Moshe ben Maimon, also known as Nachmanides):. In the beginning God only created two things from scratch, everything else developed from these two things. what did he create? Ramban describes them as tiny elements, too small to be properly defined, felt or seen, which are the building blocks for everything else (what, you think an 11th century Rabbi knew the word atom?) He states two versions of this substance (which he calls hule`) were created, one for the spiritual realm and one for the physical realm, and everything else evolved from these creations.. . However, they had no hand in it- but G-d wanted us to understand the correct way to behave- that even when one person has absolute power and has no need of others, it is the correct action to still consult and allow others to voice their opinions before acting. . 4) Ibn Ezra sees the Hebrew as being in the plural majeste- in other words, G-d is speaking as a monarch and thus uses the singular for the plural essentially, devoid of the plural majeste the sentence would then simply be "I will make man in MY image".
