Unlike larger firms, personal attention is the cornerstone of our practice. We understand the burdens faced by those who have been injured by the negligence of others and the need to obtain the maximum compensation for those victims and their family members. We also understand the importance of standing up to large insurance companies who so often wrongfully deny claims or attempt to obtain unfair settlements from those who have been injured.

Litigation

Yes your grandmother might gift the property to you and whom ever else she might want.. . This might not be the vest financial situation to you as you would be required to pay a gift tax on the property. It might be that your grandmother would place the property in a revocable living trust.. . There area few advantages and the cost to form a trust is not expensive. . #1. A trust can be changed by your grandmother (Revocable) can be changed by your grandmother at her whim). . #2. A trust normally not challenged in a court of law as a will is able to be.. . #3. A trust would not be required to go through probate

by how much she will take

A durable power of attorney gives you rights, not responsibilities. She can't just sign a piece of paper that requires you to handle her personal business. All the POA does is allow you to do it if you feel like it. For example, you could now go into her doctor's office and ask about her medical treatment, and the doctor can talk to you. You could go to her bank and withdraw money. You don't have to do any of this. I would just send the POA back to her and tell her to pound salt.

The registration of the flat is not done yet, hence we have to have an assignment agreement between him, me and builder. How can we get his signature on the assignement agreement attested? Can we get help from Indian Consulate in UK? Or we have to have GPA done for him?.

good luck.

A cover letter goes with something. It "covers" something else. If you don't have a resume, write one, or put the cover letter over the application. A resume with no former job experience is OK. Just write your name, address. School honors, grades, any extra curricular activities, athletics, any athletic awards...honor roll, ...On the cover letter, write that you are a student at so and so high school and you are interested in this position. You are interested because.....blah blah....Make it short and sweet, do a little resume (look online for a format for resumes) and send it.
