  • I received my undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Tennessee in 1975.? I went on to graduate from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1978.? I served for several years as managing attorney for Appalachian Research and Defense Fund, a legal aid office in Kentucky, and as managing attorney for Legal Services of Southern Piedmont, a legal aid office in Charlotte, North Carolina.? I entered private practice in 1995.

While practicing law in Kentucky and North Carolina, I represented clients in class action lawsuits, as well as individual matters.? I have appeared before judges and magistrates in many different forums, including administrative proceedings, military tribunals, state court actions, and federal court matters, all on both an original and appellate basis.?

I am honored to announce that I have been certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a specialist in Social Security Disability Law. In order to be certified as a specialist, I was required to demonstrate that I devote a significant part of my practice to Social Security disability law and that I attend numerous hours of continuing legal education in this area. In addition, I had to obtain favorable recommendations from other lawyers and judges in a process called peer review. Finally, I had to pass a rigorous written examination in Social Security disability law and related fields. I am one of only three?Board Certified Specialists in Social Security Disability Law in Charlotte and one of approximately 38 in the entire state of North Carolina. ?

A client recently requested I copy a form from another website in its entirety (to a "T"). I assume I can move forward with this as long as I have a release of liability for myself and company. Please advise on what needs to be included in this statement. Any templates would be much appreciated. Thanks!.

Also, I don't know where you are in your college career, but try internships, coops, and volunteering. Having experience and samples are absolutely invaluable when it comes to getting interviews.. . For your own entrepreneurial pursuits, you might consider writing letters to request information interviews (or at least make phone calls or send email). Target your letters by writing to people who are doing what you want to do. See if you can set up informational interviews and ask them questions. I wouldn't put anything in the letter about my plans except that you are a college student (people generally love college students) that is interested in one day opening up a marketing firm that caters to a diverse audience. Say something about how you've admired their work (if that is true). In the interview, you can share a bit of your plan, but not too much. A few weeks after the letter is sent, follow up with a phone call - if you've not heard from them.

When putting in your resignation letter, do you have to do it 2 weeks in advance?

What are the differences between printing an html and a pdf document?

I recently did a photo shoot for a local kids t-ball team including individual photos & a team photo. Each child on the team paid me (photographs only, I did not charge them a sitting fee) for their pictures. And they turned out very good. My question is this... I am trying to get a website up & going to advertise my photography. Can I post those photos on there? They are not for any sort of profit at this point. I would just like to show a sampling of my work. Is that legitimate? Thanks for your time!.
