Litigation

Litigation

Yes, a living will and an advance directive are basically the same thing. Some states also call it a "Directive to Physicians." It's basically a form or statement that you make that shows your intent to refuse medical treatment and to release health care providers from all liability if you become both (1) terminally ill, and (2) unable to communicate such a refusal.

Believe me, attorneys take it VERY seriously when there is a fee dispute and the state bar gets involved. In fact, most attorneys are more than happy to sit down and discuss the issue with you and try to work it out. After all, if you aren't happy with them, that only increases the chance that they can kiss goodbye any repeat or referral business, not to mention that no attorney wants to get sued by a former client.. . So get a copy of your retainer agreement and give your attorney a call to discuss the charges.

So I've been writing letters to some of my friends for a few months now. The letters are cool, but they're kind of getting old. We stuff in crazy magazine clippings, doodles, etc. I want to know what sort of things would be cool to include in a letter. Again, these are for my friends, not a boyfriend or family member, so they can be crazy. Thanks. :D <3.

my grand mother made me power of attorny on nov. 2007, but on april of this year i had to use it to get her into hospice, then finding out on sept of 2007, my sister had got her to make a quick will, whos document will stand. my sister quick will or my power of attorny.
