I'm currently at a temp-for-hire (though my supervisor says there are no perm jobs available) that is an at-will contract.. . I was just offered my dream job with the government (permanent) and will be starting in a week (the 24th).. . How do I go about being professional quitting? Call the agency first? Email? And then talk to my supervisor here? I'd like to keep working next week instead of being replaced immediately.. . This is my first time quitting anything, and I don't like confrontation. Help!.

Hi, I need some hints about writing a covering letter for a job application. Is it a good idea to start by saying...."I am applying for this job because.....?" Any hints or tips on writing the covering letter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks..

    Recommendation letter?

my sister and i would like to start our own business, as in selling dog treats, i have wrote an email to the state of ind. to see what forms i need and taxes and stuff. but want to know how to get it out in the public i. i have tried craiglist, handed out flyers and also gave out samples also. i also have been looking into homestead too, and now ebay..

Where can i get a copy of Military Power of Attorney?

i have a charged off credit card from 5 years ago. when i first tried to make payment arrangements the agency told me that i could only either make the full payment, pay half then the other half at a scheduled time, or pay it in three payments. it was still too much for me at the time and i couldn't find enough funds for any of those options. due to not making much money at the time, i didn't try again to pay it. i spoke to a new agency recently that told me i can now make monthly payments (which will still take a few years to pay off). however, it's been five years now and i have actually been able to rebuild my credit score which is around 650 now. is it worth it to do the monthly payments for a few years or should i wait another 2 years for it to fall off my report? i can do the monthly payment but i am also a full time student still struggling. any advice?.
