US answer:. How I did my will for free.. I went to the library (bookstore can count).. I found a book called Quicken Wills and Trusts.. It came with a cd to print out forms.. I read the entire book.. Then plopped in the CD and filled out the forms.. Printed them and took them back to the library to get them notarized for free.. Bought a fire proof box and told family where I kept the box.. Cost - $19 for the box.. . IF you have REAL assets please do not do this.. All we have is a couple of cars and a home.. The bank accounts already had beneficiaries which "overrides" anything in a will.. If you have real assets, do get the book so you can know what you want, but please have a professional do this for you. Knowing what you want will save you time and money at the lawyers office...
