Please tell me how i write informal letter to friend to tell what preparation or arrangements i have made so far for wedding ceremoney..
i wanted to know if and how i can change my babys surname. He has my maiden name which is the name he took at birth. The fathers details are blank on birth certificate as the fathers whereabouts are not known, he has no contact with my son and pays no maintainance. I have changed my name back to the same as my other children and would like my baby to have the same name as the rest of us. Is this possible? I have sole parental responsibility for my son.
Marriage has been a legal contract for certain social sets for millennia. Political marriage arrangements were written out to ensure conditions like land, dowry, inheritances, etc. Unlike modern marriage contracts they were usually between families or the groom and bride's father, not just the couple.. . It became a legal contract for the general populace when legal and monetary benefits started being attached to the status. However, common law marriages (unofficial, but usually determined by a couple living together for a period of time) are recognized in some states.
If someone changed their forename by deed poll, what would you think of them?
